"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to who this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." - Albert Einstein

What is Photography to you?

 This is a question that I seem to be consistently asking myself. It's a way to define my art work, and possible search my artist bleeding soul for answers. Sometimes it's a way to document a moment in time. This moment is unlike any other moment because now I have captured it, and sometimes it's something that cannot be seen again. This can be in nature, or society, or in a little room crowd with friends.
 Photography has also been something
that I find aesthetic pleasing. In a way that is part of the documentation of things too. These two ideas take me further into where I can explore a new world. Every time I search for a location or see something that catches my eye, it becomes an adventure. A way to explore a  world with limitless opportunities, and outcomes.

My art just pushes this further and sometimes it's a very specific idea that I want to explore. Other times my art is a way to recreate a moment that does not exist. Because photography is such an realistic medium for art, I like to play with that idea and create false moments that serve my purpose. What is comes down to is that my art through photography creates mini worlds that make the audience stop... and contemplate on what's being said, weather it's through the title juxtaposing  the image or creating a unique world.

Photography is a mean to communicate to the world that there is something you and me maybe missing. WE should stop and observe what's here...
What does photography mean to you? Let me know.
Words to live by;
Look at the world and then live with it.
